“For God so loved the world…” Jn. 3:13-17

The relationship that Jesus teaches us to have with God the Father is a relationship based on love because He radiates love for His creatures. We, as His creatures who receive that love, should feel empowered to love Him and our fellow human beings as well. However, sometimes it seems that we forget that great teaching that Jesus left us and we are left looking only at our inadequacy, our weaknesses. Today, Sunday, we gather as a community that knows it is loved by God, let us ask Him to help us discover from our own lives those signs of his great love. May we live this week without losing sight of the certainty of his goodness, his gratuitousness, his love.
