AN OPTION FOR LIFE

It was founded in 1966, located “where the asphalt ends, where the water does not reach, and where the city loses its name, in order to contribute to the education of the poor”. Since 1985 the Company of Mary has managed this school.

It is a state school with private management, and has an enrollment of 950 Primary and Secondary students.                                        

The living conditions of the people near the school have improved, but this has resulted in a move of families to the surrounding hills. These families who come from settlements of displaced people, live in a situation of great precariousness, and this makes them the privileged recipients of our humanist education.
