“The plant that my Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.” 

Jesus teaches us that what really makes us pure or impure is the intent of our heart, not appearances or outward rituals. He warns us about the danger of being “blind guides”: when we cling to human ways and forget God’s love and truth, we end up going astray spiritually.

Let us ask Jesus to make us aware that God does not look so much at our external actions, but at the intention and truth that are in our hearts… May this message of the Gospel help us to live our faith authentically, always seeking to love God and others from the depths of our being.
