The Santa Juana de Lestonnac Educational Institution begins the celebration of its 60th anniversary with a Thanksgiving Eucharist

As part of the opening of its 60th anniversary commemoration, the Santa Juana de Lestonnac Educational Institution, located in Medellín, held a Thanksgiving Eucharist last Friday, February 6, as a sign of gratitude for its educational and evangelizing journey.

Founded in 1966 in the El Pedregal neighborhood, the institution was born in response to the call to bring education to underserved communities. Since then, it has established itself as a space for integral formation, service, and social transformation, impacting generations through its educational mission.

The Eucharistic celebration was a meaningful moment to gratefully remember its history, acknowledge the path traveled, and renew its commitment to serving education and life.

A story built with faith, dedication, and community, where, as expressed in its deepest sentiment, “when stones became hearts.”
