“The wise man who built his house on rock.” Matthew 7:21.24-27

During this week we went through different passages that reveal to us what the Kingdom of God is like and who the God of Jesus is. This Gospel gives us a profound truth; It is not just about repeating the principles of our faith by heart or carrying learned words on our lips. What really matters is living from that logic and embodying what we believe. As Saint Ignatius said at the beginning of the Fourth Week of the Spiritual Exercises: “Love must be put more into works than into words.” Doing the will of the Father is building life on firm rock. It is having a clean heart. Faced with this invitation, we can ask ourselves: Who are those people who accompany us, help us to discern and respond generously to the call of the Lord?
