“He stood up to do the reading.” Lk. 4:16-30

We begin the month of September, the month of the Bible, in which, as a Church, we give a special gaze to the Word that illuminates us every day. It is a word that comes from God to fill us with life and make us aware of so many blessings that He gives us every day. Let us allow ourselves to be enlightened by his message, by the invitation He wants to make to us every day, in every situation we live. Let us try during this month to achieve a deeper closeness to the Sacred Scriptures so that we can know Jesus more and in this way love and follow him. May the attitudes of Jesus, which we will strengthen every day, lead us to live in an intimate union with him and thus make his love, his message, his Word come to life.
