With the Resurrection of Jesus, God infused in the world a longing for life that impels us to the hereafter… a hope that ends only with death when we too enter the fullness of life. Let us not then look for Jesus in what does not give life, He lives in His Gospel Word even if it seems utopian; it is alive in the Church which, although sinful, is full of seeds of life that are sown by all those who are committed to caring for it.  He is alive where there is love, justice, truth; He is alive for those of us who have faith in the Eucharist that we celebrate everyday and in which He does not cease to give Himself for the life of the world. Let us open our eyes and discover all the signs of life that lie in the soil of this broken world in which God is still determined to save and give life.
