Advent, a special time to prepare for the solemnity of Christmas. Every party is prepared with thousands of details; guest list, décor, food, sparkling lights, great music, but what about the heart? “A voice cries out In the wilderness ‘prepare a way for the Lord’.” (Isaiah 40:1-11) Let us listen to the cry of our hearts, the cry of our brothers, the cry of the earth. Advent is an invitation to recognize the presence of the Lord who calls us and challenges us in daily life. Let us prepare our hearts to live Christmas with deep meaning. Let’s take time for reflection, connect with our loved ones, reach out to someone in need, and share the faith with our community.
