HOPE

In this time of preparation for Christmas, hope knocks at our doors, because “God the Lord will destroy death forever, He will wipe away tears from all faces.” (Is. 25:6-10) This is a call to believe in the promise, God comes every day if we are actively doing good, seeking in every action the will of the Lord like Mary. Christian hope goes beyond the vertigo of shopping because we stubbornly wait for better times to come; if we share bread, we take care of the most vulnerable and ignite a light in the midst of the darkness of our world. To hope is to believe that we are not alone because the Lord is coming.
