“What do you want me to do for you?” Lk. 18:35-43

Jesus’ invitation in today’s Gospel is to revive our faith, first of all, in the light of insistent trust in the Lord; He can do everything. The blind man cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And secondly, go forth with a creative faith that seeks all means, such as prayer, actions for the good of the other, and sacrifices in order to be heard by the Lord. “What do you want me to do for you?” A mature faith is trusting and discerns from prayer, to find the will of the Father.

Let us ask, like the blind man of Jericho, to recover our faith with clarity in our lives.
