“Lord, teach me your ways.” Psalm 24

Psalm 24 invites us to acknowledge God’s supremacy and open our hearts to receive His blessing. It reminds us that only those who approach God with sincerity and purity of heart can enjoy His presence and experience His guidance and protection in their lives.

It also happens to us that we have to make decisive choices in life, which involve our conscience and our whole being. Sometimes we have many possible paths in front of us and we feel indecisive because we don’t know which one is the best; at other times we seem to see none…

Seeking a way forward is a deeply human thing, and sometimes we need to ask for help from someone we consider a friend.

The Christian faith introduces us to friendship with God: He is the Father; He knows us intimately and wants to accompany us.

Let us join the psalmist in saying: Lord, teach us your ways…
