If we are enveloped by sadness, if we have become pessimistic, let us ask the Holy Spirit to give us the gift of joy, proper to the Paschal faith, because this is a gift that comes to us from the Other, from his presence, from his efficacious Word. Let us remember the crisis situations that we have experienced and that we now ponder with gratitude. Jesus is the Father’s response and makes us “sons in the Son.” What more can we desire, what else can make us happier, yet how little time we spend discovering this intimacy, this joy which is the foundation of being Christians! The proclamation of the Good News (Gospel) is none other than this joyful proclamation that Easter brings to its fullness. We are children of the Abba of Jesus and can approach Him with the trust of children, as He did.  Jeanne said: “The challenges of today are nothing compared to the joy and happiness that await us at the end of our lives.”
