“My Sheep Hear My Voice”

Faith will always be the mystery of the collaboration of divine grace with human freedom. In the Acts of the Apostles, we can appreciate the marvelous fact of the reception that the proclamation of Jesus has among both Jews and Gentiles

For the evangelizers themselves, including Stephen, it was a surprise and a joy.

The Gospel, on the other hand, presents us with Jesus, showing the difference between those who do not believe his works and those who open themselves to listen to his voice: the latter will have eternal life, and no one will snatch them out of the hand of their Father. This year we are deepening the attitude of listening. The invitation today is to examine our listening to God. Do you give yourself, in your prayer, time to listen to God, or do you just pray in petition…? And when you sense that He suggests something to you, do you follow his voice? Be glad! God knows you and speaks to you. So…Listen!
