“Jesus was walking from city to city and from town to town, proclaiming and proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God…” Lk. 8:1-3
In this Jubilee Year we are invited to live feeling like “pilgrims of hope”. That was the motto that Pope Francis left us and it is directly associated with the way Jesus passed through this world. Today the Gospel reminds us that Jesus was walking, proclaiming and announcing the Kingdom of God. In this world we are pilgrims, but there is something that distinguishes us. Is the attitude with which we walk an attitude that expresses candor that imparts peace and freedom to others and liberates and liberates us? Or on the contrary, are we overwhelmed by life and do we, thus, overwhelm others? From Jesus we learn what can happen by announcing with hope the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Let us ask ourselves: what is the attitude with which we are walking at this time?
