World Day of Prayer for Priestly Vocations

“I give eternal life to my sheep” Jn. 10:27.

One of the vital elements of the first Christian communities was the WORD…the Word made alive in everyday life. And it is this Word that leads us to the inner knowledge of the person of Jesus. And we find that Jesus, who reveals to us unconditional love for others.

Today we are invited to be attentive to his voice… to hear him call out our name, inviting us to continue building the Kingdom from what we are and what we do.

Let us pray in a special way for all priests. In the style of Jesus, the Master, may they continue to be a reflection of compassion, joy, and hope.
