Invite to the wedding everyone you find.

Jesus provides yet another parable about the Kingdom of heaven—the Messianic banquet.  In this reading, it is likened to a banquet.  Unfortunately, the invited guests chose not to attend and even attacked the servants bearing the invitation.  The king thus sends his invitation to all. 

The history of salvation has always included the invitation.  It is a history, a love story marked by second, third, and so on opportunities to return.  Unlike the man who refused to wear proper wedding attire, may we remove the tattered clothes of our sins and dress in the garments of redemption so that we may fully participate in the banquet.
