Today’s Gospel presents us with the parable of the ten virgins, with which Jesus explains the Kingdom of God. Our life is also a similar struggle: we do not have to wait for the end of time or the day of our death, because we already have within us a foretaste of the Kingdom. The problem of not having oil in the lamp prevents us from seeing it on a daily basis: we go in the dark and act contrary to what it proposes. God gives us his grace and his means, but without our answer, we ignore them. We need to renew it always!
