“Who do they say I am?” Matthew 16:13-20 

Jesus has a clear identity; his disciples, on the other hand, will gradually discover it. That is why the question “Who do you say that I am?” offers you the opportunity to define yourself before Him.  We know it’s not easy. Peter, despite his clear answer, still had a long way to go: there would come times when his conduct would not make it clear who Jesus was to him. We continue to pray to nourish our faith and to be able to affirm, like Peter: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
