“No creature will be able to separate us from the love of God manifested in Christ.” Romans 8:35, 38-39

God’s love is eternal and infinite: nothing can separate us from it. However, there are days when we feel that all the trials hit us at once and we want to cry out to God: “what is happening?” Saint Paul points out three certainties: suffering is never rejection, the cross makes us aware that pain has redemptive meaning in the heart of God; we do not win because we are invulnerable, but because of the grace of Christ that raises us up; and neither death, nor fear, nor present difficulties can ever extinguish that love that sustains us.
