“It is time to consult the Lord.” Hos 10:1-3. 7-8. 12. Matthew 10:1-7.

The first reading, taken from the book of Hosea, is the invitation to reap in unity, not in ambitious division which only generates destruction. It is a call to sow with criteria of justice and equality, where solidarity is extended to the poorest, where the only altar is the shared table and the only bond of fraternity. It is the Lord’s call to sow the Good News and to announce that his Kingdom is near; It is a personal call to us, by our name. What is our generous response to the challenge to work for a Synodal Church, going out to meet the smallest and most vulnerable?
