FEAST OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA

“When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you to the full Truth.” Jn. 16:12-15

In his farewell, Jesus spoke insistently of the Holy Spirit. He has defined Him as Comforter and Defender, now He presents Him as the Master who will guide us to the Truth. He will communicate to us so many other things that Jesus wanted to tell us, so the Holy Spirit will come who, as a great educator, will reveal and make available to us the mysteries of God; He will take what is Jesus’ to give it to his friends. It is the Spirit who opens our minds and our hearts to savor the things of God, who impels us to seek him, who enlightens us to discover the richness contained in the Sacred Scriptures, who gives us the strength to be witnesses of Jesus, and who reproduces his traits in us. Let us ask Our Lady to help us to be docile like her to his work in our lives.
