Prior to the academic opening, welcoming remarks were delivered by Sr. María Helena Peña, Provincial Superior, and Principal Jairo López, who highlighted the importance of creating spaces that strengthen a more human, conscious, and committed education.

The opening session featured an inspiring keynote by Gloria Liliana Franco, titled “To the Rhythm of the Heart: A Perspective on Emotional Care in Light of the Word of God,” inviting participants to reflect on inner care from an integral and spiritual perspective.

On the second day, outstanding lectures were delivered by Liliana Zuliani Arango, with “Emotional Development: Our Duty in Education”; Alberto de Castro Correa, who addressed “Emotional Education from Contemporary Psychology”; and Arnaldo Canales Benítez, with “Emotional Education and Well-being: Keys to School and Personal Life.”

Workshops, roundtables, and an academic panel also took place, fostering dialogue and collaborative knowledge-building, with the participation of Marco Turbay, Erika Atencio Montano, Eulises Domínguez Merlano, and Luis Carlos Figueroa Castillo.

Before the cultural closing, Principal Jairo López expressed his gratitude to all participants, highlighting the commitment and active engagement of the educational community. Subsequently, Beatriz Acosta extended an invitation to the next congress, which will take place in Medellín in the same month of 2027.

The congress concluded with a cultural showcase performed by eleventh-grade students and a traditional gaiteros group from Barranquilla, celebrating the richness, identity, and traditions of the region as a living expression of an education also shaped through art and culture.
