“Don’t hide the light under the bed.” Mk. 4:21-25

Jesus is the light that has come to illuminate all humanity. Those who receive it must be transformed, also becoming a light for others. It is not selfishness to let ourselves be seen, if we do it to give life because the light is not ours, but it is God in us, so that others can see with our light while we consume ourselves. Sometimes we will be a beacon that guides from afar; other times, a simple lamp that illuminates the house, or a small lamp like the flashlight of the cell phone, which helps to look for other lights. Let us discover how and when others have been light to us and let us accept the invitation of the General Chapter: “To be light.”
