“Go and announce that the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 9, 35 – 10, 1. 6-8.

At the end of this First Week of Advent, the Gospel shows us Jesus traveling through towns and synagogues, in constant contact with people. He listens to their joys, hopes, and pains and tenderly responds to their needs. He teaches us that the Kingdom is built by serving, welcoming, and extending a hand to those who need it most, recognizing in each encounter the living presence of God. This is also our call: go out to meet life, transform the places where we live, and let the love of God transform us. Today, how can we make visible Jesus’ way of loving and acting?
