“Be awake to look forward to what is to come.” Lk. 21:34-36

At the gates of the Advent season, Jesus exhorts us, as families and communities, to provide spaces for prayer, with strong moments of encounter with Him. Let us engage in meetings that help us to strengthen ourselves and to live with great hope these times of worry, uncertainty and darkness. He asks us to live with seriousness, austerity and simplicity, so as not to allow ourselves to be dazzled by the transience of commercial lights, protecting life from how much they want to confound it. Knowing how to recognize with humility that strength comes from God; we trust in Him, in personal, family and community prayer.
