“But God had compassion on me.” (1 Tim. 1:1-2). 12-14
The first reading that today’s liturgy proposes to us speaks to us of Saint Paul, who recognizes that he is looked at, accepted and loved by the Lord as he is. From that recognition and that love, it is that he can carry out the mission to which he feels called by God. He is able to give his life where he is and where he is going. It is necessary to know ourselves in order to realize the great love that God has for us, the great love with which He looks at us and accepts us. It is from this Christian way that we can welcome our reality to let ourselves be guided and not be an impediment to God’s work in us. This will help those who are around us become aware of the great love that God has for them, as well. May we be a reflection of his love today wherever we are.
