“For new wine, new wineskins”. Lk. 5:33-39

The Spirit is newness and dynamism because it does not leave us locked in our preconceived or out-of-date ideas that do not allow us to grow. The Spirit of Jesus is constantly inviting us to move, to set out on a journey, to become aware of the new wine that He offers us. Let us ask him today to help us to have our eyes and hearts open, so that we may be ready with total openness to welcome the new wine that He wants to offer us and from which He invites us to live. May we be “new wineskins” to know how to welcome its newness without pretending to own it, so that its presence is visible in the corners of the world we inhabit.
