St. Gregory the Great

“I must proclaim the Kingdom of God…, to the other cities…” Lk. 4:38-44

Jesus, in his relationship with the Father, discovers the mission for which He came into the world. The Evangelists tell us that “He went about doing good.” Today we are reminded that He was healing the sick who were being brought to Him by “laying his hands on each one” because for Him, each one counts, each one is precious, including each one of us. Of what can He cure us today; of what do we need to be relieved? Feeling that with his touch He can heal us, let us ask him to help us discover to what He is sending us today? Wherever we are in our work, our study, with our neighbors, with our relatives…, to what are You sending us today?
