JESUS GIVES INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MISSION: Mt. 10:7-13

Jesus sends the Disciples to alleviate the suffering of the people, as a sign that the Kingdom of God has already arrived. The close relationship with Jesus must lead us to an encounter with our brothers and sisters, especially those most in need. Our witness as followers of Jesus must be accompanied by small gestures of kindness, which identify us with our Master. We will not be able to solve so many problems and needs around us, but we can give a little human warmth, of hospitality, of an outstretched hand. Jesus asks us for a gaze full of mercy like his, with which He never passed by, without stopping before those who needed his help.
