“FOLLOW ME” Jn. 21:20-25

“You, follow me.” What force there is in these words that Jesus addresses to Peter! That call is the consequence of the commitment to love Jesus above all else. And it is a personal call: “YOU FOLLOW ME.” To follow him, because we have also felt deeply loved; to follow him, in our state of life, in our daily reality.

The strength of our witness is the personal and deep relationship with Him. Without this experience, what are we going to witness? Without this experience, our religious expressions will be only religiosity and cultural custom.

“You follow me” is an expression with the force of a command addressed to someone in whom Jesus trusts. Do you love me? So, identify with Me, walk with Me, act like Me, let yourself be transformed by Me.
