VISITATION OF MARY, OUR LADY, TO HER COUSIN SAINT ELIZABETH

“Blessed are you among women.” Lk. 1:41

We go back into the story of the Visitation. Mary and Elizabeth were ordinary women, but with immense faith and trust in God’s presence in their lives. They knew God, and God worked miracles through their faith. They knew that God would not ask them to do something they could not do. Let us pray for this Spirit of truth and faith, which tells us that we can truly know God. May we also be “blessed and believe in the fullness of all that the Lord says to us” in our everyday lives.
