“Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God.” (Hosea 14:2)

The Liturgy continues to offer us moving texts that invite us to conversion. This return to God is deeply rooted in the spirit of the prophets. To convert, to turn towards God, to straighten the path. The Synod on Synodality that was preparing this Jubilee Year also delved into several prophetic words: listening, for example, listening to the other, to the brother and sister, to those who are different. Conversation in the Spirit is proposed as a willingness to find among all, anew, the path of a Church where each one feels welcomed. Even if we were to do this alone, to be ready for conversation, this would take us far in advancing in the challenging road the fraternal love to which we are called. We can easily distance ourselves from this fraternal love by attachment to our own opinions and the lack of transparency in our way of managing and sharing the common goods. For this reason, we are called to become witnesses of hope and joy.
