Saint Scholastica, Virgin

“They touched him and were healed.” Mk. 6:53-56

Mark’s gospel shows us an itinerant Jesus; He travels through towns, cities, regions and villages, where his inhabitants see him, recognizing him, because his fame for doing good, for curing diseases, spread rapidly from one place to another. Jesus never had any qualms about healing all the sick who were brought to him. He allowed himself to be touched by some people who, moved by faith, needed to be healed. Jesus walked through all these places in the company of his disciples, for whom it was a learning experience to walk with the Master, who manifested to them the goodness and mercy of God the Father, his unconditional love, desiring and offering all good to humanity. Present to Jesus your needs, those of your family, those of your country, with the certainty that He hears you.
