“They went out to preach…” Mk. 6:7-13

Jesus sends his disciples on mission, prepares them and gives them the necessary instructions, thus marking an itinerary and a style of his own for every apostolic mission. All of us from baptism are called to follow Jesus and to live that experience of communion with Him, from the vocation received and from which the mission of bearing witness to the presence of Jesus in our lives and of leading others to Him emerges. A mission that will always be shared, as in the case of a married couple, a family, a religious community or an ecclesial community (they are sent two by two), in a walking attitude and light on luggage (only cane and sandals), free of ties and attachments, giving importance to what is fundamental, which is Jesus himself. Do I feel the Lord calling me and sending me to preach His message of love?
