Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds

The psalm in today’s liturgy is one of praise.  The Lord has done wonderous deeds: he has made his salvation known, he has revealed his justice, kindness and faithfulness.  Our response is to join all of creation in praise; to break into song, play the harp, sound the trumpet and horn. Spend today more attentive than normal to all the reasons you can break out into song.
