Let us kneel before the Lord who made us
Today we reflect on the psalm of the liturgy, particularly the response: “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” The portion used for the liturgy begins by inviting us to kneel before the Lord who made us. We are reminded to whom we belong—the flock the Lord shepherds and guides, yet we know how often we let our hardness of heart take hold and we go off on a different path. God laments when we go astray. May we become malleable hearts in the hands of the God who loves us.
