TRUST

We live in complex times; it seems that the storms of life want to bring us down. In these days leading up to Christmas, we are invited to trust in God’s promises, something good is about to happen; “Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord is the perpetual rock.” (Isaiah 26:1-6) His Word does not disappoint us, it has its fulfillment when He becomes incarnate in the womb of Mary, the Woman of full trust in God. May the temptations of consumerism or the bewilderment caused by the evils of this world not ruin the certainty that the Lord accompanies us. May the prayer of this time be the remedy to dispel our fears and uncertainties and let us trust because there is a light that always shines.
