“To surrender all things for the building of the kingdom.” (Lk. 19-28)

With the expectation of the advent of the Kingdom, Jesus in the parable of the talents makes it clear again that it is not built from a power that governs with ambition and injustice, creating more and more slavery and poverty. It is the invitation to work for a kingdom where justice prevails, which transforms realities of death into life, of uncertainties of darkness into the light of hope…a kingdom where civilizations are built based on respect for life and dignity, where safeguarding the rights of equality comes first.

Pope Francis has insisted on spreading the Gospel, on being a Church “going out” towards existential borders. To be a “Field Hospital Church”.

What else do I need to surrender so that the Kingdom may grow in me and in others?
