“Take up your cross and follow me.” Lk. 14:25-3

Following Jesus, to help him in building the kingdom, is not easy. First it asks us to surrender the family, personal interests, our own self.  We must carry the cross, to be his disciple. And second, He asks us to measure our strength, like the builder and the warrior king, who must calculate whether their resources and strength are sufficient. The disciple must also see if he has enough strength to be faithful to the Lord’s following.
