“Come, all of you, everything is ready.” Lk. 14:15-24.

Today’s Gospel, in the same vein as the banquet, challenges us to live like Jesus, in fraternity and inclusion, especially the most fragile and least of the kingdom: “The poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame”. Who are those who ask you to open your heart and allow them to enter into it? “We are called to practice open acceptance, to participate in the construction of a new project of life and to build a true intercultural communion among peoples” (Synodal Church in Mission). God does not close the door of the banquet, and He invites others. God wants “the house to be filled.”

Can I take this message, today, to others?
