“Beware of false prophets.” Matthew 7:15

Throughout life we meet a multitude of people who offer us everything: pleasures, friendship, facilities, riches, fun, love, knowledge… Many of them are sincere, but others… We must know how to discern between false prophets, between those wolves in sheep’s clothing and those who truly bring us closer to God. History is full of examples. How many times have we believed in the goodness of a few words, of a thought, and in the end, we have realized that behind a beautiful appearance there were dark interests.

Give us, Lord, discernment so that we can discover false prophets in our environment.
