“Enter through the narrow gate.” Matthew 7:13

The Words of Jesus always help us to grow and lead us on the path of beatitude (happiness) if we trust in Him (faith) and decide to fulfill them (by our works). With this premise, Chapter 7 of the Gospel of Matthew shows us a series of pieces of advice that Jesus gives to his disciples and also a series of warnings where he wants to put the accent. That is why it is understood that in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it is necessary to follow a path and enter into the fullness of life through a “door”; the narrow gate, the gate that can only be passed through concrete acts of love for one’s neighbor.

Do you allow yourself to be guided and drawn along the narrow and demanding path of the Gospel? Do you rather follow the broad and easy way, which is to do what pleases one or what leads to the satisfaction of one’s own desires, and which ignores the needs of others?
