This is the spiritual testament of Jesus when He is still at table with his disciples before suffering. He prays to the Father and asks him for communion among all of us who follow him; May we be one. This desire of Jesus is more relevant than ever. To be one is possible only in Love. If we look at our world, we find in it many divisions, wars, struggles, polarizations and all that this entails. Could it be that we are capable of making present the legacy of Jesus, an unconditional love for all, because we are brothers and sisters, children of the same Father? Jesus prayed, saying, “For them I pray … that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I am in You, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
