JOHN 5:17-30

JESUS ACTS IN UNION WITH THE FATHER.

The Gospel of John shows us how Jesus preaches in an attempt to explain to those present something about what it means to live in communion with God, that is, what the spiritual life means. It is to have Him as a point of reference on the path to be traveled, with the desire to “know Him internally”. The more we live our daily lives with reference to God, the more we know about Him, which means that we find happiness.

Faith in Jesus Christ always leads to hope in God, who is always with us and at our side. Despair, trouble, darkness will never have the last word for believers in Jesus. How deep is our faith in Him?  Does this faith change our lives?
