“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.” Jn. 15:9-17

What a quality of love Jesus gives us!  It is the love received from the Father, the same love with which He loves us. Can there be a greater and deeper love? This has to fill our lives with joy. Experiencing the love of others: parents, community, friends, children, is something that stabilizes us and gives us security. What should it be like within us to feel loved by none other than God himself? Let us focus our prayer today on recognizing God’s love in our lives. How many things reveal his loving care and tenderness. Let us become aware, give thanks, and be filled with joy. Let us consider the depth of the tenderness with which He looks upon us. We are not just another name in a long list; He loves us, calling us by our own name and including in that love everything we are.
