“Peace I leave with you; I give you my peace.” Jn. 14:27-31Another gift from Jesus: peace. The one that nothing and no one in the world can give or take away. Anything can happen, but that peace of the Lord in us does not go away. Jesus insists: “Do not be anxious, do not be discouraged” With the power of his peace, who will be able to separate us from him? Nothing can separate us from the One whom we have found as our greatest treasure. Walking hand in hand, receiving the gift of His Spirit is the best thing that can happen to us. With these proposals, what else do we want to look for? With him we have everything. What are we missing? With the help of the Spirit of the Lord, deepen that knowledge of Jesus, which is transformed into a loving and committed relationship with him. May the Lord be the whole of our lives, like the air we breathe, like the water that fills us, like the food that sustains us.
