“They came and embraced his feet, and bowed down before him.” (Mt. 28:8-15)

We begin the Octave of Easter. While the world of power tries to cover up the truth with money and lies, the women, with their hearts racing, rush to embrace the feet of Jesus. A gesture of communion and closeness. The encounter with the Risen One roots us in what really matters and shields us against the noises that rob us of peace. Today, do we let society’s haste and deception throw us off balance? Feel the Lord’s strong embrace and ask yourself: where does He invite me today to be authentic and honest? Let us be courageous witnesses of that truth that makes us free.
