“He saw and believed. For until then they had not understood the Scripture…” (Jn. 20:1-9)

Happy Easter! Peter and John run to the tomb and, seeing it empty, their hearts take the great leap of faith. They finally understand everything. The Resurrection comes to bring order to our history, confirming to us that love, tenderness and peace will always have the last word on chaos. Sometimes we find it hard to believe that God can restore what in our lives seems definitively broken. Today, let us allow ourselves to be filled with that serene joy of the Spirit and ask ourselves: how can I renew my total trust in God? At the table, with our family, let us share today the immense joy of knowing that He lives and walks with us!
