“Who do you say that I am?” Lk. 9:18-22
When we are asked about the opinion we have about someone we know, it can be a little difficult to define the person; however, we try to express our impression as closely as possible. It happens differently when the person we are asked about is almost unknown, because we may feel that we do not have much to say. The Gospel tells us that Jesus asks his disciples about what they say about him. A question that He continues to ask us and that we can answer, although each time we try to answer it, it may have a different approach and the answer could vary a little. Today, during prayer, let us give ourselves the challenge to listen to Jesus who says to us: “Who do you say that I am?” and let us try to respond with sincerity from our hearts.
