“Do to others as you would have then do to you.” Lk. 6:27-38
The words of Jesus that we hear today are a challenging message, because it makes us uncomfortable and leads us to go out of ourselves. It is demanding for us and this is because we live in a world that teaches us the opposite. It seems that it is necessary to be above others in order to “be someone” in life. Jesus teaches us that from the recognition of who we are and from the acceptance of Him and others, is how we can live in this world building a more human, more fraternal society. In this way, we will all have a place, treating each other with mutual love. What attitude leads us to practice these words of Jesus?
